Jenner & Block Partner Gianni P. Servodidio will receive the 2007 Burton Award for Achievement in Legal Writing for his New York Law Journal article, "Keyword Advertising: The Elusive Search for Use in Commerce on the Internet.” Mr. Servodidio was among the 30 individuals selected by the Burton awards committee from hundreds of applications submitted by the largest 1,000 law firms in the nation.

Since its inception eight years ago, the national Burton Award for Legal Achievement program has been widely acclaimed for recognizing outstanding legal writing by practicing attorneys who use "plain, clear and precise language and avoid archaic, stilted legalese."

In addition, Jenner & Block will receive a “Record of Distinction” Award for winning a Burton Award for three consecutive years, and thereby becoming one of only eight firms to do so.

Mr. Servodidio and the Firm will receive these honors at an awards program to be held on June 4 at the Great Hall of the Library of Congress in Washington, DC.  Bob Schieffer, CBS News’ chief Washington correspondent, will be the guest speaker and Bill Press, formerly of CNN’s “Crossfire,” will be the Master of Ceremonies.
