Jenner & Block has joined Time to Vote, a diverse, non-partisan coalition of more than 700 companies that have made a commitment to ensure their employees have a work schedule that allows them to vote in elections.

As a business-led initiative, Time to Vote helps ensure employees across America don’t have to choose between voting and earning a paycheck. Jenner & Block announced in August that it is offering all personnel who participate in the US elections an optional personal day on Tuesday, November 3.

“Our firm’s longstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion and social justice is measured by our actions,” said Randy Mehrberg and Katya Jestin, co-managing partners of the firm. “In many respects, the change we call for may start at the ballot box. This is why Jenner & Block is a member of Time to Vote. We are committed to giving our people the time and opportunity to participate in this defining foundation of democracy.” To read the more about Time to Vote’s drive to increase voter turnout in the United States, please click here.
