Alumni Publication Profiles Partner Lindsay Harrison for Leading Prominent Cases
The University of Southern California published an alumni profile
of Partner Lindsay C. Harrison
for her leading role in several recent high-profile cases with far-reaching implications that have “shaped the fates of millions.” Published by the university’s Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, the profile recognized Ms. Harrison for her landmark US Supreme Court win preserving the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program following the Trump administration’s attempt to end it, as well as her role in helping reverse the administration’s restrictions that would have required international students to leave the country unless they were taking in-person coursework during the continuing COVID-19 pandemic.
“I’ve always been raised with a recognition of how immigration enriches the American experience, and how it’s really important to the character of our country,” she said in the profile “To see some devaluing of that over the last few years has been disheartening. I’ve really wanted to fight back against that.”
