Jenner & Block Partner Reena R. Bajowala is the subject of a lengthy profile written by a University of Michigan Law School student. Titled “M-Law Grad Turns Outrage Into Action,” the feature recounts Ms. Bajowala’ s path to becoming a lawyer and details her commitment to social justice, pro bono work, service to the community and supporting diverse lawyers in the legal community. “When you see something that’s wrong, your sense of justice has to be rooted in your own outrage,” said Ms. Bajowala, a 2005 graduate of UM.
In 2005, Ms. Bajowala founded the Origins Fellowship Program at the University of Michigan Law School, through which the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association has awarded almost $100,000 in funds to over 25 law students working to advance the public interest.
