The $31.5 million strategic acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Squirrel Brand, L.P. was completed on November 30, 2017. Squirrel Brand produces and sells branded nut and nut products in multiple distribution channels throughout the United States.
The cross-disciplinary team was led by Partners Donald E. Batterson and Alexander J. May, with support from Partner Brian S. Hart. Associates Wei Xu, Young Woo (Ariel) Cho and visiting lawyer Fumiya Beppu assisted from the Corporate Department. Also playing a significant role in the transaction were Partners David M.
