Partner Barbara Grayson Named American College of Trust and Estate Counsel Fellow

Jenner & Block Partner Barbara R. Grayson has been elected as a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) in recognition of her professional accomplishments.

Fellows are elected “based on their outstanding reputation, exceptional skill, and substantial contributions to the field by lecturing, writing, teaching and participating in bar activities,” according to ACTEC.  ACTEC’s goals are to maintain an association of skilled trust, estate and probate lawyers dedicated to improving laws, procedures and professional responsibility. 

Ms. Grayson, co-chair of the firm’s Private Wealth Practice, has more than 15 years of experience representing individuals, families, family offices, family owned businesses and charitable organizations. She is a frequent speaker and author on wealth transfer and estate planning issues, and is a member of the Chicago Estate Planning Council.

Ms. Grayson also serves in advisory roles for community service groups, including the Chicago Community Trust and the Spotlight Advisory Council for the Goodman Theatre.
