Jenner & Block Partner Michael T. Brody is the subject of a profile that focuses on his goals as the new president of the Seventh Circuit Bar Association.   Titled “Pro Bono Pro Wants to Help Pro Se Litigants,” the article in the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin highlights Mr. Brody’s goal of ensuring that more litigants going before Chicago’s federal appeals court have representation.  In addition to increasing the ranks of lawyers taking cases pro bono, Mr. Brody wants to spread the word about the benefits of belonging to the Association.  “We have a strong membership, but I’d like to see it be bigger.  And I’d like to continue to promote to federal practitioners the things that the bar association does well,” he says.  The profile also notes that Mr. Brody’s father, the late James Patrick Brody, served as the Association’s president in 1974 and 1975.
