Jenner & Block Partner Michael T. Brody has been elected president of the Seventh Circuit Bar Association. Mr. Brody was selected president at the Association’s Board of Governors’ meeting during the 64th Annual Meeting of the Bar Association and the Judicial Conference of the Seventh Circuit, which took place earlier this week in Milwaukee.
Mr. Brody has been a leader in the bar association for many years, chairing several committees and serving as a member of the board of governors and as secretary, second vice presidentand first vice president. He is the first Jenner & Block lawyer to serve as president of the association.
Interestingly, Mr. Brody follows in the footsteps of his father, James Patrick Brody, a Milwaukee lawyer who also served as a Seventh Circuit Bar Association President, from 1973 to 1974.
