Jenner & Block Partner Thomas J. Perrelli testified before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform on February 12, 2015.  Tom discussed his work as a member of the United States Secret Service Protective Mission Panel, an independent panel appointed by U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson to review the Secret Service’s protection of the White House compound.  The four-member panel was formed in October 2014 and released a summary of its findings to the public two months later.  Secretary Johnson called the panel’s recommendations “astute, thorough and fair.”  Please click here to read the executive summary.  Titled “U.S. Secret Service: Identifying Steps to Restore the Protective Agency,” the hearing was held to discuss reforms at the Secret Service.  Please click here to read the testimony.
