The National Law Journal has named Partner Lindsay C. Harrison a “D.C. Rising Star,” described by the NLJ as one of 40 “game-changing lawyers age 40 and under” who are “leaders in the law” in the nation’s capital.
The report, published in the NLJ’s “Legal Times” on September 15, noted that the 40 selections were made from approximately 200 nominations and include attorneys working in the private, government and public interest sectors.
A profile of Lindsay highlighted her winning argument to the U.S. Supreme Court in the Nken case when she was a 30-year-old associate; her representation of “major brands” of the hospitality industry, including Marriott International and its subsidiary Ritz-Carlton; and her current pro bono representation of three same-sex couples challenging West Virginia’s ban on same-sex marriage.
This recognition follows Lindsay’s selection earlier this year as a Law360 “Rising Star” in the hospitality practice area – one of only four attorneys nationwide who were chosen for that recognition.
