Jenner & Block Partner Vincent E. Lazar is the American Liver Foundation’s (ALF) 2014 “Flavors of Chicago Community Honoree.” Vince and a firm team that includes Partners Jason M. Casella and Andrew J. Olejnik, Associate Matthew C. Carter and Of Counsel Emma J. Sullivan will be recognized at ALF’s signature Chicago-area gala on September 22, 2014, in appreciation of pro bono legal services it has been providing to the foundation since 2006.
The American Liver Foundation was created in 1976. Its mission is to facilitate, advocate and promote education, support and research for the prevention, treatment and cure of liver disease. It is the leading source of information on liver health and liver disease, including helping to connect individuals with liver disease to financial assistance resources they may need.
The Jenner & Block team’s work for ALF is one example of the vital pro bono representation that the firm provides on non-litigation matters, contributing hundreds of hours of legal services each year that are invaluable in helping nonprofits continue their important work.
