Jenner & Block Partner Reena R. Bajowala has been selected for the 2013 Fellows Program of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD), a national organization made up of the legal profession’s top general counsel and managing partners. The landmark program is designed to identify, train and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession.
Reena, a partner in the Complex Commercial Litigation, Class Action Litigation and ERISA Litigation Practices, joins a class of 160 attorneys from around the country who have been selected as LCLD Fellows for 2013. She serves on the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, Women’s Forum Steering Committee and as the founding co-chair of the Mother’s Circle. She previously served as co-chair of the Firm’s Asian Forum and as an inaugural member of the Associate Board of the Diversity Committee.

She joins a select group of experienced attorneys from diverse backgrounds who have been recognized for their potential as leaders in their organizations. By participating in the LCLD Fellows program, Reena will have the opportunity to share her years’ worth of experience as an active member of Jenner & Block and as a member of several professional organizations aimed at giving back to the community,” said Managing Partner Susan C. For years, I have advocated for greater diversity and inclusiveness in the legal profession, from establishing a public interest fellowship while at the University of Michigan Law School to my leadership in the North American South Asian Bar Association. This year-long Fellows Program will give me the opportunity to further my efforts to promote diversity in the legal industry and learn from other influential peers in the profession,” Reena commented.
According to LCLD Executive Director Robert J. Grey, Jr., the LCLD Fellows Program offers participants “an extraordinarily rich year of relationship-building, virtual and in-person training, peer-group projects and extensive contact with LCLD’s top leadership.”
