Jenner & Block Partners Terri Mascherin and Gabriel Fuentes will speak at the Practising Law Institute’s seminar titled, “Ethics for Litigators 2012,” to be held June 29 at the University of Chicago Gleacher Center. The seminar, which will be moderated by Ms. Mascherin, will feature a panel of litigators and ethics professionals who will offer practical solutions to important ethics issues that frequently arise in the course of litigation.

Ms. Mascherin is a partner in the Firm's Litigation Department and a member of the Complex Commercial Litigation, International Arbitration, and Trademark, Advertising and Unfair Competition Practices.  She represents businesses in disputes over corporate transactions, partnerships, joint ventures, licenses, and contracts. She is a first chair trial attorney who is effective in both jury and bench trials, and in representing clients in arbitrations and arguing appeals in state and federal appellate courts throughout the United States.

Mr. Fuentes is a member of the Firm’s White Collar Defense and Investigations, Antitrust Litigation, and Media and First Amendment Practices. He counsels clients in the areas of white collar defense and investigations, antitrust litigation and media and first amendment issues. He draws on a varied background including time as a federal prosecutor and professional journalist.
