Jenner & Block Partners John R. Storino and Matthew R. Devine will be panelists on a program sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers entitled: “Cyber Risk Management and Business Continuity Planning.” The program, part of the PwC General Counsel Forum, will take place on April 12 in Chicago at the PwC Conference Center and April 13 in Rosemont at Morton’s The Steakhouse. The program will focus on providing corporate counsel with legal tools to respond to the growing wave of cybercrime, including theft of intellectual property, theft of personal data and cyber-attacks that shut down electronic service. Mr. Storino is a member of the Professional Responsibility, Real Estate and Construction Litigation and Labor and Employment Practices. He has experience in issues ranging from breach of contract, civil rights litigation and election law to insurance coverage, pension fund litigation, product liability and employment disputes. Mr. Storino represents lawyers and law firms in professional responsibility matters, including malpractice litigation, conducting internal investigations at law firms and representing attorneys before disciplinary agencies. He also represents owners, developers, subcontractors and engineers in a variety of construction law actions and counsels them regarding general business practices.
Mr. Devine is a member of the Firm’s Litigation Department and Complex Commercial Litigation Practice. He has significant experience handling sophisticated business litigation in state and federal courts throughout the country. Mr. Devine focuses his practice on heavily-litigated aspects of business law: fraud, trade secrets, fiduciary duties, unfair competition and restrictive covenants - particularly high stakes “mass raid” cases. He also counsels individuals and corporations faced with government investigations, and civil or criminal charges.
