Jenner & Block Associate Joshua Rafsky spoke at a seminar presented by the Chicago Bar Association Employee Benefits Committee on March 13, 2012. The seminar was titled “ERISA Basics – Selected Compliance Areas,” and Mr. Rafsky discussed new disclosure requirements for service providers regarding fees and potential conflicts of interest and participant-level regulations requiring plan sponsors to disclose specific information about plan and investment costs to employees.
Mr. Rafsky is a member of the Firm’s Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice. He focuses his practice on employee benefits and executive compensation counseling and has experience in a wide variety of employee benefits and executive compensation matters, ranging from the benefits aspects of corporate transactions to Section 409A compliance to ERISA fiduciary obligations. He is the Secretary of the Chicago Bar Association Employee Benefits Committee and an appointed member of the Employee Benefits Section Council of the Illinois State Bar Association.
