Partner Howard S. Suskin will be a panelist on a program sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers entitled: “Percolating Topics for 2012:  PWC Study Finds Changing Litigation Landscape.”  The program, which takes place on April 17, 2012, in Chicago, will offer a “first look” at the PWC 2011 Securities Litigation Study, and the panelists will review the key findings, analyze their implications, and examine the patterns from increased activity by the plaintiffs’ bar and the government in enforcement, whistleblower cases, investigations, and regulatory actions.

Mr. Suskin is a partner in the Firm’s Litigation Department, Co-Chair of its Class Action Practice and a member of the Securities Litigation and Enforcement and International Arbitration Practices.  He is also a member of the Firm’s Subprime Litigation Task Force and serves on the Firm’s Management Committee.  Mr. Suskin has substantial first-chair experience representing individuals and business entities in civil and criminal securities matters, including class actions alleging securities fraud and misrepresentation claims.  He is Co-Chair of the Class and Derivative Actions Subcommittee of the ABA Securities Law Committee, and he publishes and speaks extensively on issues relating to class actions and securities law.  He is a member of the Advisory Board of Board IQ, a Financial Times publication, and the Securities Editorial Board of Law 360 and also serves on the faculty of Practising Law Institute.
