Jenner & Block Partners David M. Greenwald and Lorelie S. Masters will speak at the American Bar Association Section of Litigation’s “Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee CLE Seminar,” on March 4-7 in Tucson, AZ.
Ms. Masters will speak on March 6 in a plenary session titled, “Climate Change and Insurance: Looking Back at Historical Insurance.” The session includes an overview of current and expected climate change litigation. Both policyholder and insurance carrier perspectives on potential insurance recovery are represented, addressing issues such as duty to defend, occurrence, damages, trigger and allocation.
Mr. Greenwald will speak on March 6 in a breakout session titled, “Reinsurance at Home and Abroad: What Direct Side Coverage Lawyers Should Know about Reinsurance,” that addresses reinsurance issues relevant to direct coverage actions, including discovery, reinsurance coverage disputes, and custom and practice affecting reinsurance cover.
The annual conference gathers together insurance company and policyholder’s counsel and industry leaders to attend and present diverse topics and views on current insurance issues with a particular focus on litigation skills.
