Jenner & Block Partner Matthew L. Jacobs will speak at the American Conference Institute’s 16th Annual Summit on D&O Liability, being held on November 30- December 1, 2010 at the Flatotel in New York, NY.  Mr. Jacobs will speak in a session titled, “The Concerns of the Insured: What do Companies Expect from their D&O Policy?” The American Conference Institute’s Annual D&O Liability forum has been the premier event for leading brokers, underwriters, claims counsel, and litigators to come together in a collaborative and collegial setting to benchmark coverage, underwriting, and claims strategies.

Mr. Jacobs is a member of the Firm’s Insurance Litigation and Counseling and Reinsurance Practices.  He regularly advises corporations on the availability of insurance coverage for a wide variety of claims, including those related to directors and officers liability, errors and omissions, mortgage lending practices, mold and water damage, business interruption losses, product liability, mutual fund late-trading and market timing lawsuits and regulatory investigations and environmental matters.  Mr. Jacobs has written extensively on issues of insurance coverage for D&O liabilities and related matters, has spoken at over 100 conferences, and has chaired over a dozen more, both domestically and internationally, in the past 25 years on various insurance coverage issues.
