Mr. Jacobs provided a comprehensive analysis of the key issues and the latest legal developments in Chinese drywall insurance litigation coverage. Mr. Jacobs discussed the impact of conflicting opinions from the lower courts in Virginia and Louisiana and how this increasing litigation will affect insurance claims. Mr. Jacobs is a member of the Firm’s Insurance Litigation and Counseling and Reinsurance Practices. He regularly advises corporations on the availability of insurance coverage for a wide variety of claims, including those related to directors and officers liability, errors and omissions, mortgage lending practices, mold and water damage, business interruption losses, product liability, mutual fund late-trading and market timing lawsuits and regulatory investigations and environmental matters.
