Jenner & Block Associate William K. Pao will serve as moderator for a tele-web seminar on November 15, 2011, titled “Developing an International Practice 101: Asia,” sponsored by the International Law Section of the State Bar of California.  The program will provide insight on important issues relating to building an Asia practice, including issues ranging from practice areas to cultural and linguistic considerations of practicing in the region, along with the region’s short and long-term outlook.

Mr. Pao is an associate in the Firm's Litigation Department and a member of the Firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation, International Arbitration, and Class Action Practice Groups.  He has extensive experience litigating and managing a wide range of complex commercial matters at the trial and appellate levels, including consumer class actions, media and entertainment cases, and cases involving Chinese companies.   In 2002, Mr. Pao was a Fulbright Scholar to China and attended Fudan University, researching the impact of economic reforms on Chinese social values.
