“Negotiating Real Estate Loan Terms and Workout Options,” National Business Institute, Chicago, IL

Jenner & Block Partner Donald S. Horvath participated in a National Business Institute seminar titled, “Negotiating Real Estate Loan Terms and Workout Options,” in Chicago, IL. Mr. Horvath spoke in a session titled, “Important Provisions to Include in Real Estate - Related Loan Documentation,” where he discussed loan agreements, mortgages,  guaranties and other loan documents. Mr. Horvath also participated in a panel discussion titled, “Borrower vs. Lender: Negotiating Loan Document Terms.” During this session, Mr. Horvath and the other panelists staged a mock negotiation of loan documents to provide further insight into the significance of key loan provisions.

Mr. Horvath is a partner in Jenner & Block’s Chicago office.  He is a member of the Firm’s Real Estate Practice and Construction Law Practice and the Real Estate Finance Litigation and Workout Task Force.  Mr. Horvath represents and advises owners, developers, contractors and design professionals in connection with all facets of the development process including the preparation and negotiation of joint venture, development, design and construction agreements, the selection of project delivery methods, risk management and dispute resolution.
