Jenner & Block Partners Norman M. Hirsch and William D. Heinz will participate in the Practising Law Institute event titled, “Illinois MCLE Marathon 2010,” being held on May 21, 2010 at the University of Chicago Gleacher Center in Chicago, IL.

Mr. Hirsch will serve as Co-Chair of the event and will speak in a session titled, “Ethical Issues Regarding Lateral-Entry Attorneys,” where he will discuss the imputation of conflicts and screening, due diligence and transition and orientation.  Mr. Heinz will speak at a session titled, “Conflicts: Overview, Principles, and Developments,” where he will discuss advance waivers of conflicts, conflicts and corporate subsidiaries, and conflicts and prospective clients. Mr. Hirsch and Mr. Heinz will also serve as panelists for other segments of the program. 

Mr. Heinz is a partner in the Firm’s Litigation Department and Co-Chair of the Firm’s Professional Liability Litigation Practice and Chair of the Firm’s Conflicts Resolution Committee. Mr. Heinz serves as Counsel to the Firm.

Mr. Hirsch is a partner in the Firm’s Litigation Department. He is a member of the Professional Responsibility and Antitrust Litigation Practices. Mr. Hirsch serves as Counsel to the Firm.
