Jenner & Block and the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Public Health present the second in a series of disaster-management seminars.  This half-day seminar, entitled “Prevent the Event,” focuses on the actions companies should take now to be prepared to respond to a natural or manmade disaster.  The issues covered include a review of appropriate insurance coverage, plans to comply with emergency reporting obligations to governmental agencies, OSHA planning and training requirements, and the audit of key operational documents such as financial and lease agreements and employment, supply, and customer contracts to identify provisions and terms to address emergency situations.  Speakers include Environmental, Energy and Natural Resources Law Practice’s Co-Chair James A. Vroman, Partners Bill S. Forcade, and Gabrielle Sigel, and Associates Jennifer Burke and Steven M. Siros
