Jenner & Block Partner Andrew Weissmann will be the featured dinner speaker at The Conference Board’s Council on Corporate Compliance, to be held June 15-16 at The Conference Board headquarters in New York City.  The event will address compliance issues such as the qualities of a good investigator, new training and communication methods, ethics and integrity, and codes of conduct, among other things.  Founding members of the Council on Corporate Compliance include Altria Group; Amerada Hess; BP plc; Corn Products; Deere & Co.; Dow Chemical; DuPont; Fannie Mae; FedEx; Intel; Lockheed Martin Corporation; Sears, Roebuck and Co; Shell Oil; Sprint Corporation, Tenet Healthcare; TIAA –CREF; and United Technologies. 

Mr. Weissmann is the former Enron Task Force Director for the U.S. Department of Justice, and the former Chief of the Criminal Division in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York.  His practice concentrates on internal corporate compliance and investigations, including representation before the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission and state and local authorities.
