“Letter of Credit: Practical Uses in Financial Transactions" Professional Education Broadcast Network Tele-Seminar

Jenner & Block Partner Carter H. Klein recently spoke via a teleseminar for the Professional Education Broadcast Network on the topic, “Letter of Credit: Practical Uses in Financial Transactions.”
Mr. Klein’s presentation was broadcast to 147 attorneys from a dozen state bar associations. It targeted lawyers that do not frequently practice with letters of credit. The seminar explored the rules, practices and practice pointers dealing with standby letters of credit as opposed to commercial letters of credit.
Mr. Klein concentrates his practice in financial transactions, Uniform Commercial Code work, secured and unsecured lending, credit enhancement issues and credit workouts, funds transfers, financial institutions work, acquisitions and international transactions.  He is listed in Best Lawyers in America for Banking Law, is a Liaison for the American Bar Association's UCC Committee to the Permanent Editorial Board of the Uniform Commercial Code, and is a member of the Banking Committee of the US Council on International Business.
