Jenner & Block Partner Donald E. Batterson participated in the Emory Law School’s Transactional Law Career Panel held October 22 at Emory Law School in Atlanta.
Mr. Batterson spoke to an audience of first and second year law students about the basics of transactional law practice, the various types of work done by corporate lawyers and the implications and advantages of selecting a corporate practice.
Mr. Batterson is a member of the Firm's Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions, Securities, Climate and Clean Technology Law, and Defense & Aerospace Practices. He graduated, with honors, from Emory Law School in 1993, where he was Executive Managing Editor of the Emory Law Journal. He is the author of "A Durational Look at the New Judicial Federalism," Emory Law Journal (1993).
