For the sixth year in a row, Jenner & Block is the Premier Sponsor of the Minority Corporate Counsel Association’s CLE Expo, to be held March 21-23, 2007 at the Chicago Marriott Downtown.  The conference will feature substantive programs in the areas of Corporate, Intellectual Property, Labor & Employment and Litigation. 

Partner Kali N. Bracey will serve as a panelist at a 10:30 AM session on March 23 entitled, “Implications of the KPMG Decision on the Future of Employee Indemnifications,” which will analyze whether indemnification is the right approach in various litigation and regulatory enforcement proceedings.

Partner Jorge M. Leon will serve as a panelist at a 10:30 AM session on March 22 entitled, “Executive Compensation: Recent Developments,” which will discuss current and proposed SEC disclosure requirements on the compensation packages paid to top corporate management.

Partner Kenyanna M. Scott will serve as a panelist at a 2:00 PM session on March 22 entitled “Department of Justice Enforcement Trends: Avoiding Horizontal Pinstripes and the Perp Walk.”  The panel will address strategies for successful negotiations with the Department of Justice.

Partner Michelle Speller-Thurman will serve as a panelist at a 10:30 AM session on March 23 entitled, “Private Equity and Hedge Funds,” which will discuss recent developments in the hedge fund industry.
