“Congressional Earmarks Are Back: Everything You Need to Know about ‘Community Project Funding’ and How to Get Your Project Funded,” Webinar

On March 25, Jenner & Block’s Government Relations Practice will host a webinar to help clients navigate the complexities of earmarks, or “Community Project Funding,” that members of the US House of Representatives have agreed to revive. Earmarks allow members of Congress to direct spending to pay for specific projects in their districts and states. The US Senate is expected to consider similar rules allowing for earmarks in the coming weeks. In the meantime, the House Appropriations Committee—through which House earmark requests must pass—has set quick deadlines for submissions: April 28-30, depending on the subcommittee jurisdiction. With a tight timeframe and new restrictions implemented, the webinar will address this tremendous congressional funding opportunity and will be hosted by lawyers and government relations specialists with decades of experience in the White House and Congress. The webinar will feature a conversation with Partners Charles W. Galbraith and Robert C. Harmala, and Senior Government Relations Specialists Craig Williams and John A. Sobel. The webinar begins at 2 pm ET.

Space is limited. Please email if you are interested in attending.
