Held on October 17, the event drew more than 175 associates and in-house counsel. With a Day of the Dead theme, the event featured performers in costume and makeup. Associate LaRue L. Robinson, a member of The Chicago Committee’s Associate Board, served as chair of the Planning Committee for the event. Joining Mr. Robinson at the bash were Department Counsel Will E. Wilder and Associates Cristina Covarrubias, Ren-How H. Harn, Sara Kim, Christian Plummer, Reena Sikdar and Vaishalee V. Yeldandi.
The Chicago Committee seeks racial and ethnic diversity in the legal profession. The organization works to drive sustainable institutional change at law firms and corporate legal departments; provide professional development; and cultivate the community of minority lawyers through programming and leadership opportunities.
