“Under the Microscope: What the Authorities Expect to See in Your Compliance Program,”

Jenner & Block Partner Christine Braamskamp will speak at the Practising Law Institute’s Connected Compliance in a Global Market: Essential Elements of an Effective Compliance & Ethics Program 2019.  Titled “Under the Microscope: What the Authorities Expect to See in Your Compliance Program,” her session will highlight what factors are important in signifying the existence of an effective compliance program.  She and other panellists will share insights about what sends a message that a program is ineffective.  Finally, they will review changes in enforcement policy that compliance officers should be aware of.

The program will be held at Freshfields Bruckhaus in London on November 11, 2019. 

Ms. Braamskamp is co-chair of the firm’s Investigations, Compliance and Defense Practice. She has helped build compliance programmes and regularly provides compliance advice, including relating to sanctions, whistleblowing and anti-bribery and corruption procedures.
