“#MeToo: Ethics, Compliance and Investigations,” Jenner & Block and the Nevada chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel

Jenner & Block Partners Katya Jestin, Reid J. Schar and Wade A. Thomson and Associate Tali R. Leinwand will offer practical advice concerning #MeToo compliance and investigations. Sponsored by the firm in association with the Nevada chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel, the event is titled “#MeToo:  Ethics, Compliance and Investigations.”  It will be held on April 24, 2019, in Las Vegas.

Ms. Jestin is a co-chair of the Investigations, Compliance and Defense Practice. She conducts sensitive internal investigations on matters ranging from global compliance risk to #MeToo. She provides counsel on these matters to senior management and Boards of Directors and represents the same in government investigations. Prior to coming to Jenner, Ms. Jestin was a federal prosecutor in the Eastern District of New York.

Mr. Schar is a co-chair of the Investigations, Compliance and Defense Practice.  He advises boards of directors and board committees and appears on their behalf before regulatory bodies.

Mr. Thomson is a member of the Investigations, Compliance and Defense Practice.  He has substantial experience with internal, government and criminal investigations, including in the gaming industry.  

Ms. Leinwand is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department.  Prior to joining Jenner & Block, Ms. Leinwand clerked for the Honorable Marjorie O. Rendell of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.  Previously, Ms. Leinwand was the First Amendment Fellow at the New York Times Company,
