Jenner & Block Partner Andrew W. Vail will join a panel discussion at the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Access to Justice’s Law Student Leaders Summit. Titled “Making a difference: How You Can Get Engaged,” the program will focus on ways that law students can expand access to justice as they become lawyers. Panelists will explore giving time through pro bono and limited scope services, charitable giving to civil legal aid and serving on bar associations, organizational boards, legislative advocacy and continued funding for the Legal Services Corporation. The summit will take place in Chicago on Friday, February 22.
Mr. Vail is chair of Jenner & Block’s Pro Bono Committee and has been recognized for his commitment to the Chicago community, pro bono legal representation and the organized bar. He previously chaired the Chicago Bar Associations (CBA) Federal Civil Practice Committee.
