"When the Deal Goes Wrong: Enforcing Corporate Agreements and the Importance of Boilerplate," Practising Law Institute - Drafting Corporate Agreements, Chicago, IL

Jenner & Block Partner David C. Layden regularly speaks at a Practising Law Institute program entitled, "Drafting Corporate Agreements" held at the University of Chicago Gleacher Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Mr. Layden, a member of the Firm’s Litigation Department and the Business Litigation and Bankruptcy, Workout and Corporate Reorganization Practices, presents a session titled, "When the Deal Goes Wrong: Enforcing Corporate Agreements and the Importance of Boilerplate."  This program addresses ways in which "boilerplate" (including merger clauses, arbitration clauses, forum selection provisions, and limitations of liability) can help a party avoid litigation when disputes arise, and advance the party's interests in litigation should it occur.
