“FAA Reauthorization and Beyond,” Federal Bar Association Transportation Security Law Section
On December 3, the Federal Bar Association’s Transportation & Transportation Security Law Section will host a brownbag lunch session in Washington, DC that will discuss the recently enacted FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018. Featuring Special Counsel Amna Arshad
as one of its guest speakers, she joins Sharon L. Pinkerton, senior vice president for Legislative and Regulatory Policy, Airlines For America; Rachel Devine, democratic staff director and senior counsel, US House of Representatives; and Ronald K. Schuster, legislative director, Office of Legislative Affairs. They will address the new Act’s implications for airlines, airports and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS).
Ms. Arshad is a member of the Aviation and Aerospace Practice. She has significant experience helping businesses navigate the challenging regulatory landscape of UAS and new and emerging technologies prior to and following the passage of Part 107, the regulations governing commercial UAS operations.
