“Trade Secrets Forum 2018,” Managing Intellectual Property

Jenner & Block Partners Debbie L. Berman and David R. Singer and Associate Aaron J. Hersh will speak at the Trade Secrets Forum 2018, sponsored by Managing Intellectual Property.  Ms. Berman and Mr. Hersh will be panelists in a session called “Has the DTSA Changed Trade Secrets Litigation,” which will focus on the growth of trade secret litigation in the digital era.  Mr. Singer will be a panelist is a session called “Trade Secrets and Digital Forensics,” which will highlight the growing importance of digital forensics in trade secrets cases.  The forum will be held in San Jose on September 27, 2018.

Ms. Berman is co-chair of the Trade Secrets and Restrictive Covenants Practice.  She is known for litigating the seminal case on the inevitable disclosure doctrine for trade secrets, PepsiCo v. Redmond, both on the trial and appellate level.

Mr. Singer counsels and represents clients in many areas, including copyright, trade secrets and trademarks.  He served as co-lead counsel in a high profile trade secrets lawsuit against online real estate portal Zillow and two of its senior executives.

Mr. Hersh has a broad scope of litigation experience, including in trade secret misappropriation, restrictive covenants and non-competition agreements.
