“Low-Hanging Fruit: Evidence-Based Solutions to the Digital Evidence Challenge,” Center for Strategic & International Studies

Jenner & Block Partner David Bitkower will join a panel discussion that focuses on a new report by the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS).  The report examines the challenges and opportunities faced by law enforcement in accessing and leveraging digital evidence.  It provides recommendations for Congress, law enforcement, and service providers to work together to establish a national digital evidence strategy that strengthens law enforcement’s ability to protect the public, while also strengthening protections for privacy and civil liberties.  Sponsored by the CSIS, the event will take place at 8 am on July 25, 2018, at the Dirksen Senate Office Building in Washington, DC.

Mr. Bitkower is a member of the firm’s Investigations, Compliance and Defense Practice.  He joined the firm after more than a decade as a federal prosecutor.  He has led prominent white collar cases, leading clients to turn to him for their most significant and complex matters.
