Jenner & Block Partners Kelly Hagedorn, Gayle E. Littleton and Christian Tuddenham will discuss managing litigation risk at a CLE event titled “Managing International Litigation and Enforcement Risk.”   Along with representatives from Afridi & Angell and Junhe, the panelists will focus on the risks of litigation and prosecutorial/regulatory enforcement facing companies with business connections in the UAE, China, the United Kingdom and the United States.  The panelists will address issues arising out of proceedings in each of those jurisdictions and risks for companies internationally arising out of enforcement strategies of agencies such as the US Department of Justice.  The program will be held from 11 am to 1 pm on May 16 at the firm’s Chicago office, 353 N. Clark St.

Ms. Hagedorn is a partner in the firm’s London office and member of the Investigations, Compliance and Defense Practice.  Clients in a broad range of sectors, including oil and gas, telecommunications and financial services, seek her counsel in regulatory investigations and other matters.

Ms. Littleton is a partner in the firm’s Chicago office and is a member of the Investigations, Compliance and Defense Practice.  She brings a wealth of experience investigating and litigating matters involvingthe Foreign Corrupt Practices Act,  fraud, corruption, tax evasion, cybercrimes and regulatory violations, as well as civil actions brought pursuant to the False Claims Act and the Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery, and Enforcement Act.

Mr. Tuddenham is a solicitor-advocate and partner in the firm’s London office.  He is a member of the Complex Commercial Litigation Practice and advises financial institutions and companies worldwide in both litigation and arbitration, including securities litigation, fraud and economic tort claims, shareholder and joint venture disputes and asset-tracing/enforcement matters.
