Jenner & Block Associate Ravi Ramanathan shared insights about judicial clerkships to students at Harvard Law School. Sponsored by the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA), the program featured Mr. Ramanathan and four Harvard students who had obtained a variety of clerkships. Among other topics, they discussed how they made the decision to clerk, where they decided to clerk, what benefits are gained from clerking, and how to navigate diversity and identity issues during the clerkship process. Mr. Ramanathan has held two clerkships: one for Judge José A. Cabranes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and one for Judge Denise Cote of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. The program was held at Harvard on April 3, 2018.
