"American Bar Association Section of Taxation Meeting," American Bar Association, Hilton Bayfront San Diego

Jenner & Block Partners Geoffrey M. Davis and Gail H. Morse and Associate Rafi W. Mottahedeh will present on various panel discussions at the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Taxation Meeting.  Ms. Morse will moderate the panel discussion “A Comparison of the California Rules of Professional Conduct and the ABA Model Rule of Professional Conduct.”  Mr. Davis will moderate the discussion “Ethical Issues in Federal Tax Practice – The Government Perspective.”  Mr. Mottahedah will be a panelist for the discussion “Working with Islamic Finance.”  Ms. Morse’s and Mr. Davis’ sessions will be held on February 9, 2018; Mr. Mottahedah’s session will be held on February 10.  The meeting will take place at the Hilton Bayfront San Diego.  To learn more and register, please click here.

Mr. Davis is co-chair of the firm’s Tax Practice.  He has a broad federal tax practice focusing on acquisition and divestiture transactions, restructuring and financing transactions and fund formation and related investments.

Ms. Morse is a partner in the firm’s Tax Practice and leads the firm’s national state and local Tax Practice.  Her federal tax background also enables her to counsel clients on a wide range of federal and state tax issues and controversy matters.

Mr. Mottahedeh is an associate in the firm’s Tax Practice.  He focuses on a broad range of federal, state and international tax planning and tax controversy matters.
