“Ethics Issues in Mediation,” Practical Law

On February 8, 2018, Jenner & Block Partner Richard F. Ziegler will present a webinar/live program sponsored jointly by Practical Law, the International Institute on Conflict Prevention & Resolution (CPR) and Jenner & Block.  Titled “Ethics Issues in Mediation,” the program will address hypothetical mediation circumstances that illustrate multiple ethical issues and will focus particularly on the challenging aspect of confidentiality in mediation.  Other panelists include Noah J. Hanft, president and CEO at International Institute for CPR and Bernadette Miragliotta, senior litigation counsel at American Express Company.  The panel will be moderated by Steven Skulnik, senior legal editor at Practical Law Litigation Services.  The 90-minute program begins at 2:30 pm ET.

Mr. Ziegler is a senior litigation partner and co-chair of the firm's International Arbitration Practice.  A former general counsel of a Fortune 100 company, former federal prosecutor and an active arbitrator, mediator, civil litigator and counselor, he focuses his practice on international arbitration and complex commercial litigation.  He is also a member of CPR’s Board of Directors.
