United States, a case that raises the question of whether the government violates the Fourth Amendment by accessing an individual’s historical cell phone location records without a warrant. The panel was hosted by Google and the Center for Democracy & Technology on November 28 – a day before oral arguments were held on the case before the US Supreme Court.
Mr. Bitkower is a member of the firm’s Investigation, Compliance, and Defense and Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Practices. He is a former principal deputy assistant attorney general for the Criminal Division of the US Department of Justice, the second-highest ranking position in the division.
