“Choice of Forum in Trade Secret Disputes” Seattle Technology Law Conference

Jenner & Block Partner Brent Caslin will present a session titled “Choice of Forum” at the Seattle Technology Law Conference, an annual event sponsored by Law Seminars International.  The presentation will focus on important differences in state and federal law in the areas of trade secrets, computer fraud, and related tort claims.  It will be held during the Seattle Technology Law conference on Friday, December 1, at the US Bank Centre in Seattle, Washington.

Mr. Caslin manages commercial and intellectual property disputes across the United States and around the Pacific Rim.  He has tried civil and criminal cases, argued before state and federal appellate courts, and represented clients in domestic and international arbitration tribunals.  He has been recognized by a number of publications as a leading lawyer in the area of trade secrets, and received a California Lawyer of the Year award in the trade secrets category in 2017 for his work on several high profile trade secret matters.
