Jenner & Block Partner Gabrielle Sigel will participate in a panel discussion titled “The Landscape of Environmental Protection Law In Turmoil.” The panel is one of several sessions being presented at Boston College Law Schools “Environmental Protection Law In The Cross-Hairs” symposium. Other discussion topics include“A Bellwether Statute: the Endangered Species Act and What It Tells Us,” “How Environmental Protection Reaches the Public Eyes and Ears: the Environmental Journalism of Environmental Law and Politics” and “Climate, the Issue of Our Time, and our Future.” The program takes place November 2, 2017, at Boston College Law School’s Rappaport Center for Law and Policy. Ms. Sigel is a featured presenter at the first panel discussion and will be participating in other sessions throughout the day.
Ms. Sigel is co-chair of the firm’s Climate and Clean Technology Law Practice and a founding member of the firm’s Environmental and Workplace Practice. She is a frequent speaker on climate change, workplace health and safety, and hazardous material exposure and remediation issues.
