Jenner & Block Partner Gail H. Morse will participate in a panel discussion at The Women in Law Empowerment Forum’s (WILEF) November program. Launched in 2006, WILEF is the leading forum for the advancement of women in law. The panel discussion is designed to give women at all levels of their legal career an opportunity to ask Ms. Morse and the other panelists anything and everything pertaining to their experiences in the industry. The panelists will share their insights and offer advice to attendees looking to shape their legal practice into a thriving career. Questions for the panelists will be taken in advance or asked in real time during the discussion. Small group discussions will follow the program, with a panelist or WILEF Board member leading the conversation. The program will take place on November 2, 2017 from 12:00 – 1:15 pm at K&L Gates LLP in Chicago.
Ms. Morse leads the firm’s national, state and local Tax Practice. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Illinois Women’s Institute for Leadership. Her past board and other roles include secretary of Lambda Legal, vice-chair of the Chicago-based Women’s Treatment Center, commissioner on the Cook County Commission on Women’s Issues and chair of WILPOWER, the political action committee of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois. Partners Elizabeth Abbene Coleman and Barbara R. Grayson are current members of WILEF’s Global Advisory Board.
