Jenner & Block had a strong presence at the ABA’s 2017 Forum on Air & Space Law’s Annual Meeting and Conference, held from September 14 to 15, 2017. The premier event featured a series of panel discussions on hot issues of critical importance to the aviation and aerospace industries. The firm sponsored the conference and had a number of lawyers participating. Partner Abby L. Bried moderated the “Aviation Infrastructure - Will the Trump Administration’s Initial Climb Make It over the Wall?” panel discussion. She also served on the event’s Planning Committee and is a member of the ABA’s Air & Space Governing Committee.
Associate Katherine B. Johnson and Special Counsel Steven J. Seiden authored an article titled “Drones on the Outside Looking Infrastructure: How ATC Reform Could Accelerate Civil Drone Integration” for the infrastructure panel; the paper will be included in the next Air & Space Lawyer publication. A number of key clients attended.
