“How Corporate Counsel Can Maximize Results in Arbitrating Commercial (B2B) Disputes,” American Bar Association Business Law Section Annual Meeting

Jenner& Block Partner Richard F. Ziegler will speak at the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section Annual Meeting.  His panel is titled “How Corporate Counsel Can Maximize Results in Arbitrating Commercial (B2B) Disputes.”  Mr. Ziegler and other panelists will share their insight on several topics including, among others, the right arbitration clause, effectively workingwith institutions, understanding the flexibility of the process and the arbitrator selection process.  Other panelists include William Crosby, associate general counsel at Interpublic Group of Companies; Albert Parker, head of General Counsel Legal Advisors; and retired California judge Gail Andler of JAMS.  The panel will be moderated by Jeff Zaino, VP of the American Arbitration Association.  The session will be held on September 15, 2017, the second day of the three-day event in Chicago.

Mr. Ziegler is a senior litigation partner.   A former general counsel of a Fortune 100 company, former federal prosecutor and an active arbitrator, mediator, civil litigator and counselor, he focuses his practice on international arbitration and complex commercial litigation.
