“Bid Protests in the World of Mergers and Acquisitions,” Federal Publications Webinars

Jenner & Block Partners Gregory H. Petkoff and Peter H. Rosenbaum and Associate Carla J. Weiss presented a webinar that explored recent activities in bid protests and mergers and acquisitions.  Titled “Bid Protests in the World of Mergers and Acquisitions,” the webinar focused on topics including why GAO reviews mergers and acquisitions that occur during a major contract competition; how agencies should evaluate proposals from a contractor undergoing a merger, acquisition or other corporate transaction; and strategies for potentially mitigating and pursuing bid protests in the context of mergers, acquisitions and related transactions.

Mr. Petkoff is a partner in the Government Contracts Practice. He represents large and small businesses and institutions on government contract matters involving defense and civilian agencies.  He has recorded more than 200 reported decisions in bid protests and has resolved major claims against the government using ADR processes in both the government and private practice.

Mr. Rosenbaum concentrates in corporate transactions and counseling, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and securities compliance and reporting.  In the area of mergers and acquisitions, he has represented public and private companies as buyers and sellers in a wide range of industries and an array of transaction structures.

Ms. Weiss is an associate in the Government Contracts Practice.  She represents large and small clients on a range of government contract issues, including bid protests, claims, investigations, and compliance.
