Jenner & Block Partner E. Lynn Grayson will join a panel discussion about business risk associated with environmental issues. Titled “Environmental Risk: Best Practices in Spotting, Evaluating, Quantifying and Reporting Risk,” the program will help attendees improve their ability to spot, evaluate, quantify and report on risk to provide value for clients and their businesses. Other panelists will include Kristen Laughridge Gale, associate at Nijman Franzetti; and Jim Powell, director of Environmental Permitting at Mostardi Platt. Partner Allison A. Torrence and Christina Landgraf, counsel, Environmental, Health & Safety at United Airlines, Inc. will moderate the event. The program will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on May 11, 2017, at the firm’s Chicago office, 353 N. Clark St. Jenner & Block is pleased to be joined by members of the CBA Environmental Law Committee and the Air & Waste Management Association.
Ms. Grayson is chair of the firm’s Environmental and Workplace Health & Safety Law Practice and recognized as one of the country’s leading lawyers in environmental law. She serves as lead environmental counsel in US and international transactions and counsels corporate leadership on the management of material environmental risks and liabilities.
Ms. Torrence is a member of the firm’s Environmental and Workplace Health & Safety Law Practice as well as the Climate and Clean Technology Law Practice. She has significant experience in environmental litigation, working on cases involving toxic torts, CERCLA, RCRA, the Clean Water Act, and the Clean Air Act, among other matters.
