“Government Agency Interaction,” 10th Annual Chicago White Collar Crime & Corporate Governance Conference

Jenner & Block Partners David Bitkower and Reid J. Schar were recently panelists at the 10th Annual Chicago White Collar Crime & Corporate Governance Conference, sponsored by Law Bulletin Seminars.  The theme of the conference was “Implications of a Trump Administration.”  Titled “Government Agency Interaction,” their session covered a variety of topics including compliance, investigations and cooperationgiven the change in administrations.  The conference was held on April 19, 2017, in Chicago.

Mr. Bitkower is a member of the White Collar Defense and Investigations Practice.  He joined the firm after more than a decade as a federal prosecutor.  He has managed prominent white collar cases, leading clients to turn to him for their most significant, complex and high-profile matters.

Mr. Schar co-chairs the firm’s White Collar Defense and Investigations Practice and is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.   He has led domestic and foreign internal investigations for a variety of clients across a wide range of industries and has handled compliance reviews around the globe.  He regularly interacts with the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission and other regulatory bodies in enforcement actions and investigations on behalf of clients
