"Attorney-Client Privilege in Jeopardy in Insurance Litigation," Strafford Publications Webinar

Jenner & Block Partner David M. Greenwald will speak at an interactive teleconference titled, “Attorney-Client Privilege in Jeopardy in Insurance Litigation,” to be held on March 11 at 1 p.m. (Eastern Time).  The teleconference is sponsored by Insurance Law & Litigation Reporter and the Legal Publishing Group of Strafford Publications.

The teleconference will provide an overview of the attorney-client privilege in insurance litigation and examine several recent instances in which the privilege has been called into question. In addition, the panelists will discuss the role of attorneys working for insureds and insurers and strategies and best practices for preserving the privilege in insurance cases.
Mr. Greenwald, Co-Chair of the Firm’s Reinsurance Practice, frequently speaks on insurance and reinsurance topics, as well as topics relating to the attorney-client privilege. He is co-author of Testimonial Privileges (ThomsonWest 2005, updated through 2008) and the Editor of the Firm's Attorney-Client Privilege Update online resource center, which provides regular reports on this legal issue.
